David Patchen Glass Art

Primarily self-taught, Patchen then studied informally with Afro Celotto, former assistant to Lino Tagliapietra, and was awarded a scholarship for artistic merit to attend the legendary Pilchuck Glass School. Patchen's work is frequently exhibited in prestigious shows internationally and is in many private collections, including Elton John's. His work is known and respected in Murano and his book, David Patchen: Glass, is in the permanent collection of Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Centro Studi del Vetro (Glass Study Center Library) in Venice, Italy.
