Stephen Rolfe Powell has had one man shows in Paris, New York, Seattle, Chicago, and Hamburg. He is the only American glass artist represented in the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia. He is also represented in numerous other public and private collections around the world. Powell's work is sensual and evocative and filled with raw energy and radiant color. He has successfully merged the luminosity of glass with the color aesthetics of the abstract expressionist. Critics and collectors alike recognize Powell as one of the truly great glassmasters.
