Sonja Blomdahl has been blowing glass for over twenty years. She has taught extensively, and is represented in major collections around the world including the White House Collection of American Craft, the Corning Museum of Glass and the Renwick Gallery, National Museum of American Art, Smithsonian Institution. In Blomdahl's work there is a wonderful juxtaposition of color that absolutely sings to the viewer. Her vessels and bowls are lush and captivating. To look at a Blomdahl piece is to want to possess it.
